How it works

Bring a gadget to the counter, follow each short step, and get back to the customer in front of you.

  1. Scan or type

Scan the code on the box or type the IMEI or serial by hand. Manual entry is always there as a recovery path.

  2. Confirm the match

Look at the details we find and confirm they match the gadget in your hand. Fix anything that looks wrong before you continue.

  3. Inspect condition

Walk through a guided check — front, back, sides — and note what you see. Observations like screen minor marks and frame minor wear set the grade, for example B+.

  4. Add with cost

Enter what you paid for it, for example ₦850,000, and add it to the shop list. The unique identifier (IMEI, serial, or service tag) is checked so the same gadget cannot be entered twice.

  5. Sell with receipt

Enter the selling price and payment method — cash, transfer, or POS. Profit is calculated for you, for example ₦170,000 on a ₦1,020,000 sale, and a receipt is issued as an immutable snapshot.

  6. Passport history

Every intake note, inspection note, and sale lands on the device passport, so any staff member can see what happened and when.

Offline-first. Every step saves on the device first and syncs when you are back online, so a dropped network never loses a record.

Not every device has an IMEI

The record adapts to the device in your hand. An iPhone is tracked with IMEI and serial, a MacBook with its serial number, and a Dell laptop with its service tag. The system is not IMEI-dependent.

Device Passport and receipt

Every gadget you record gets a Device Passport: one page that keeps its intake notes, inspection notes, and sale notes together so any staff member can see what happened and when.

When a sale is done, the app issues a receipt as an immutable snapshot of what was agreed, and you can keep a printable copy for your files or share it with the buyer.

A note on our method

Lookups and suggestions only help you capture details faster. A person on your team reviews and confirms each record before it counts, and the app keeps the offline copy on the device until the sync is done.

If anything looks wrong, fix it before you save. What your team confirms is what the Passport and the receipt will show.
